‘trans* artist portraits’ is a collaborative photo art project in which I photograph other trans*/non-binary artists and they and in a second step they artistically process and modify the image. In this way, the work challenges the cis-normative view of the art world and at the same time questions constellations of power and gaze in portrait photography.
